If one thing is clear in today’s politics, smoking guns are often searched for yet rarely found. With the latest revelation in the Hunter Biden Ukrainian gas company case, Joe Biden may finally have to answer some tough questions about his son. The latest smoking gun and how it was discovered reads like a Hollywood screenplay.

A newly released email from his tenure as Vice President alleges that Joe Biden met with a top executive at Burisma, a Ukrainian gas company that his son was working for, less than a year before he pressured the Ukrainian government to fire a prosecutor investigating the company. This revelation comes after Joe Biden has repeatedly denied speaking with his son, Hunter, about his overseas business ventures.

The email comes from a laptop computer that was dropped off at a computer repair store last April in Biden’s home state of Delaware. The laptop was never picked up and the person who brought the laptop in never paid for service. Federal Law Enforcement officials reportedly took custody of the laptop in December last year, when they were alerted by the store owner. The store owner though, made a copy of the hard drive before turning it over to authorities and has now reportedly turned over the contents of that hard drive to Rudy Giuliani’s lawyer, Robert Costello. On Sunday, Rudy Giuliani provided a copy of that hard drive to the New York Post.

This first release of information may very well be just the beginning of the hard drive’s contents. While everyone thought Trump’s coronavirus diagnosis was the October surprise, a laptop hard drive is sending shockwaves with the election less than three weeks away.
