One of the most prominent investors from the hit TV show Shark Tank is Kevin ‘Mr. Wonderful’ O’ Leary. He has his hand in many businesses, from Wine to Wicked Good Cupcakes he is known as a strict Shark consistently counter-offering entrepreneurs his infamous royalty deals.

The FTX fallout is complicated and will take months to sort out. Kevin gives his opinion when a reporter asked him about his thoughts on what happened with FTX and Sam Bankman-Fried:

The answer is I don’t know yet. And I’ve said that from the beginning. The point is, we don’t have any facts. We have a lot of hysteria. We have an angry mob crowd. We have a lot of conjecture. We have a whole lot of stipulations that no one can basically– has any basis to make claims on.

But there is more to the investor than his popularity on the ABC show. He is a true investor and had put money into the Crypto exchange FTX. Kevin expands upon his FTX investment in an interview with Yahoo:

I want the facts. That’s all. I don’t think that’s asking too much. And frankly, I can’t retrieve my money until I know where it is. And that’s the first thing I need to know. I need to know where was my money transferred to? It’s alleged it went to the Bahamian government, alleged it went to the US, alleged it was stolen in a hack.

Kevin just wants the truth:

I’m one of them. That’s exactly what happened to me. And I intend to fix it. I’m going to go after that money. I want it back. I have the resources to do it. I’m very fortunate, I have millions of followers. I’m going to take them on the journey. I’m going to get the money back. That’s what’s going to happen.

The truth will come out, but it will take time. Perhaps weeks, perhaps months, perhaps years. There are several documentaries in place to be produced educating America on the complex crypto situation. Until then we must wait for the experts to sort this out.

FTX may have been a failure, but Patrick Bet David gives us hope, on how to succeed in business in such volatile times:
