Is there another voice of reason in America who makes a living telling jokes? Comedians are inherently brave, they stand alone on a stage, hoping to entertain a crowd with their material, and several huge names in comedy have come out blasting woke culture in the United States. Bill Maher does it weekly in some fashion on his HBO show Real Time; Roseanne Barr had a whole comedy special on the topic. And now maybe the biggest star in comedy has done the same thing.

Chris Rock touched on several important topics during his Netflix special “Selective Outrage” debut Saturday night. Fans worldwide were anxious to hear him talk in public for the first time about being assaulted on stage by Will Smith during the Academy Awards last March.

Rock touched on that and then blasted snowflakes who spend significant time sharing their pain about words that hurt and being “triggered.” His take was hilarious.

“Anybody that says that words hurt has never been punched in the face. Words hurt when you write them on a brick.”

That was the warmup — he then put cancel culture in his crosshairs and let it rip, warning his audience not to fall into the woke trap.

“The thing I have a problem with is the selective outrage,” Rock said.  He followed by saying that people who express secretive outrage are“full of s***.” “Motherf***ers typing out woke a*s tweets on a phone made by child slaves. Not only is everybody full of s***, every business is full of s***.”

Rock verbalized what millions of people are thinking — that Meghan Markle has become insufferable since becoming a “royal.”

“I know her dilemma: black girl trying to be accepted by her white in-laws. Oh it’s hard. It’s so hard, it’s very hard – but it ain’t as hard as a white girl trying to be accepted by her black in-laws. Now that s*** is really hard. Meghan Markle, I know the dilemma. I’m like, ‘If you black and you wanted to be accepted by your white in-laws then you need to marry a Kardashian because they accept everybody.’”

Rock had another bit about Lululemon’s politics and then decided to get jiggy on the topic of Will Smith — and his ambush and sucker punch. He accused Smith of exercising “selective outrage” and claimed Big Willy got violent because he was upset that his wife cheated on him.
