In a three-month span, NBA player Malik Beasley was arrested for pointing a gun at a family on a car home tour, been pictured with a celebrity nearly twice his age while his wife was blindsided by it at home with her kid, signed a new four-year, $60 million contract with the Minnesota Timberwolves and plead guilty to a jail sentence.

Beasley’s anti-quarantine may be going a little different than your pandemic experience, just as he was able to lawyer up differently than most people to have his felony charges for threatening violence reduced to a misdemeanor classification once he completes probation. He can serve the sentence of 120 days, at most, once the season has ended, The Athletic reported. For Timberwolves fans, that is annually before the playoffs start.

Beasley’s trouble started on Sept. 26 when he approached a car with a couple and their child in it on a Parade of Homes tour in Plymouth, Minnesota. When they looked, they saw a gun pointed at them by Beasley with a threat to leave his property, which actually was a rental home.

In late November, Beasley was twice photographed with former Real Housewives of Miami star Larsa Pippen, the latter coming for his 24th birthday with the 46-year-old estranged wife of NBA Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen. The Pippens have four children, and Beasley had a toddler with Instagram model Montana Yao, who filed for divorce on Dec. 8 as Beasley flaunted his relationship in social media.

Larsa Pippen also was dating rapper Future recently, and admitted to dating another NBA star, Tristan Thompson, before her friend, Khloe Kardashian, did.

Beasley is fairly anonymous as multi-millionaire NBA players go, but has found a way to make a name for himself.
