This had to be kind of awkward.

Bill Gates, the founder of Microsoft, had to meet with former Microsoft HR head Lisa Brummel and current president Brad Smith because of inappropriate emails Gates was sending to a female employee.

This was back in 2008 according to a Wall Street Journal report.

During the meeting, Gates admitted the emails he was sending were not appropriate and he reportedly agreed to stop sending them.

Bill’s publicists shot back, Telling Insider that the meeting never occurred.  So, someone is clearly lying, or doesn’t know what the definition of a meeting is.

“These claims are false, recycled rumors from sources who have no direct knowledge, and in some cases have significant conflicts of interest,”

A few things have changed since this event 13 years ago.

For one thing, Gates isn’t involved in Microsoft anymore.  And unlike 2008 when this alleged happened, Gates is no longer married, so sending flirtatious messages to a female would be a little more acceptable than doing it to an underling while you are still married.
