Biden has announced his re-election, and despite the lack of strategy in doing so, he’ll continue with Kamala Harris as his runningmate.

Her approval ratings are about five points below Biden’s, which are pretty bad in itself. So, to combat the criticism Harris has been receiving, former Biden Chief of Staff Ron Klain called the whole thing sexist and racist. Give me a break.

On a podcast interview, Klain was clearly enlisted to play defense. “Well, I do think sexism and racism are part of the problem, no question about it, I think she was not as well known in national politics before she became vice president. And I think that she hasn’t gotten the credit for all that she’s done.”

This comes after a number of countless stumbles from Harris that have nothing to do with her gender or race.

The biggest problem is, she doesn’t represent the nation well and she can’t really form a coherent, clear policy point. She dances around every issue, making the USA look flippant when she represents the nation abroad.

Think back to her time in Ghana. Her comments were frustratingly vague, and never offered any tangible policy actions her administration would do to aid the ailing continent of Africa. “Here are a number of things on the issue of the economy as a whole that we must do … and a lot of that work is the work that I am here to do on the continent,” Harris said.

Her tenure has been all word salad and no action. Voters are just tired of it. Nothing to do with her gender or race, case closed.
