Those darn teleprompters! Hopefully, the White House kept the receipts for the last batch they bought for Joe Biden because there seems to be an abnormal amount of technical difficulties, as the oldest president in history bumbled and stumbled his way through multiple gaffes lately. In other words, a typical week for “The Big Guy.”

For someone who has brought up January 6, 2021, so many times for political leverage, you’d think he would remember the date. He didn’t.

Friday, during a ceremony in D.D. Biden honored the election officials and law enforcement officers with the Presidential Citizens Medal. It definitely deserved honors; it would appear.

Here’s part of the speech he didn’t screw up on.

“It’s not exaggeration to say America owes you, owes you all. I really mean this. A debt, a debt of gratitude, one we can never fully repay unless we live up to what you did live up to.”

White House officials were probably high diving each other. Relieved their boss was able to make it through the speech unscathed.

But no, a few seconds later, the 80-year-old had a senior moment, forgetting what month the whole storming the capitol thing happened.

“If I can halt for a second and just say to you the impact what happened on July 6 had international repercussions beyond what I think any of you can fully understand.”

July 6, January 6. Hey, at least they both start with a J!

He rallied quickly, got back on track with his prompter, and turned the event into a self-serving political attack.

“There’s no other way of saying it. The U.S. Capitol was breached, which had never happened before in the history of the United States of America, even during the Civil War. A violent mob of insurrectionists assaulted law enforcement, vandalized sacred halls, hunted down elected officials, all for the purpose of attempt to overthrow the will of the people and usurp the peaceful transfer of power.”

That is what you call progress; he did not confuse the Civil War with the Korean War.
