In a couple of years, it will be interesting to see if the other 49 states feel the same way about Ron DeSantis as Florida seems to.  The Florida Governor rolled to reelection Tuesday night, destroying his opponent Charlie Christ by over 1.5 million votes.

That is what is called in sports and politics, a blowout. Even members of his team didn’t foresee that type of domination at the polls.  When he was elected for the first time in 2918, he squeaked by, winning by just 30,000 votes.

All eyes will watch to see if he serves his entire second term. He is regarded as the big winner from the mid-term elections and the person who could lead the country out of the major problems it faces now under Joe Biden.

DeSantis certainly didn’t shy away from implying something big was around the corner, telling a huge crowd of supporters that he “had only begun to fight.”

He’s doing something right. People from all over the nation are packing up and moving to Florida, and the state is thriving.

Here’s more from his speech Tuesday.

“Now this great exodus of Americans, for those folks, Florida for so many of them, has served as the promised land. We have embraced freedom. We have maintained law and order. We have protected the rights of parents. We have respected our taxpayers, and we reject woke ideology. We fight the woke in the legislature, we fight the woke in the schools, we fight the woke in the corporations, we will never ever surrender to the woke mob. Florida is where woke goes to die!”

That type of spirit will make more people want to move to the Sunshine State, especially if they live in woke-infested states like California, New York, and others.
